Regulation Size
Planning your dream backyard pickleball court is an exciting project! Before you get started, it’s important to consider an important key factor, such as the size of your pickleball court. To follow official regulations, your court should measure 20 feet wide by 44 feet long.
The USA Pickleball Rulebook states that players should consider the minimum pickleball total play area to be 30 feet wide by 60 feet long. However, a 10-foot margin is ideal, bringing your total playing surface dimensions to 40 feet wide by 64 feet long.
